This Policy applies to the Site and its content. If you follow a link to another website or service, that provider’s privacy terms will apply to your activity there.

  • Comments and submissions: If commenting or another submission feature is enabled, we may receive the information you enter, such as your name, email address, website, message and any content you submit.
  • Accounts: If user registration is enabled, we may store account and profile information needed to administer the account.
  • Subscriptions: If you subscribe to updates or a newsletter, we may collect your email address and subscription preferences. You can unsubscribe through the link provided in each marketing message.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our hosting, security, caching and analytics services may automatically process technical and usage information. This may include your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, date and time of access, cookie or similar identifiers, and diagnostic or security logs.

We use Google Analytics through Site Kit by Google to understand traffic and how visitors use the Site. Google may process device, browser, page-view, referral and approximate-location information using cookies or similar technologies. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and its Analytics privacy information.

How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, secure and troubleshoot the Site.
  • To understand readership, improve navigation and develop useful content.
  • To respond to enquiries and manage relationships or collaborations.
  • To review, moderate and publish comments or other user submissions where those features are enabled.
  • To provide subscriptions or communications you request and manage opt-outs.
  • To detect spam, fraud, misuse, security incidents or technical problems.
  • To comply with applicable law, enforce our terms and protect our rights or the rights of others.

Where applicable law requires a legal ground for processing, we rely on consent, the information you voluntarily provide for a requested purpose, our legitimate need to operate and protect the Site, or another lawful basis available under applicable law. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to legal or operational requirements.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for essential WordPress functions, security, preferences, comment convenience, caching and analytics. Some third parties may place or read their own cookies when their content is embedded or when you follow a link to their service. For more detail and control options, please read our Cookie Policy.

When information may be shared

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share or permit processing of information only as reasonably necessary with:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers, including Hostinger, which hosts the Site and may process server and security data. See Hostinger’s Privacy Policy.
  • WordPress-related services, including tools used for site administration, spam prevention or profile images. If Gravatar is used with comments, an anonymised hash derived from an email address may be checked by that service. See Automattic’s Privacy Policy.
  • Analytics providers, including Google, as described above.
  • Professional advisers or authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, establish or defend legal claims, or protect safety and security.
  • A successor operator if the Site or relevant assets are transferred, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.

External links, LinkedIn and embedded content

The Site links to third-party websites, including LinkedIn and AI-tool vendors. Clicking an external link transfers you to that provider, which may collect information under its own terms. LinkedIn’s practices are explained in its Privacy Policy. Embedded videos, images, social posts or other content may behave as though you visited the source website directly and may use third-party tracking technologies.

Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain security and records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Approved comments and related metadata may remain while the comment is published. Account information may be retained while an account remains active. Backup, security and server-log copies may remain for a limited period under service-provider retention processes.

International processing

Our service providers may process information in India or other countries. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ between countries. Where required, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements intended to protect information during such processing.

Your rights and choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to information about you, correction or completion of inaccurate information, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or grievance redressal. You may also control cookies through your browser and opt out of marketing communications through the unsubscribe link provided.

To make a privacy request, use the channel listed on our Contact page. Please describe the request and the Site interaction concerned. We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting. Certain information may be retained when required by law or for security, record-keeping or legal claims.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small publishing website. However, no website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending confidential, financial, medical or other sensitive information through public comments or general communication channels.

Children

The Site is intended for a general business and adult audience and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to the Site, contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, remove it.
